This notice explains how IMG Snagging & Property Inspections uses personal information when you request, book or receive an inspection.
Who is responsible for your information
IMG Snagging & Property Inspections is a sole trader business operated by Ion Marian Geru. For privacy questions, email info@imgsnagging.co.uk. The business correspondence address and telephone contact details are included in the written booking confirmation.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, property address and postcode, property and access information, booking details, correspondence, inspection notes, photographs and report details. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, arrange and carry out the requested service, provide the inspection report, process and reconcile payment, deal with complaints and meet legal, accounting and professional obligations. The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating the business and protecting legal rights.
How your information is shared
We share information only where needed to provide the service or run the business, for example with Stripe for card payment processing, email and website service providers, professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, inspection and report records only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, accounting, complaints, legal obligations and the protection of legal rights. In normal circumstances, business records are retained for up to seven years, unless a longer period is needed for a complaint, claim or legal requirement.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to certain processing, or a portable copy. Website and cookies
This website is a simple information and booking-request site. It does not use a contact-form database, advertising pixels or analytics cookies. The request button opens your email application so you can review the email before it is sent.
